A useful means of transport

Had to drop our car off at a garage today so decided to unicycle back home which went pretty well - half a mile in total I'd say, but I had to hop on and off a few times...

First good session for a while...

Well I'm glad to say I haven't forgotton how to do it since last Friday, although I did find free mounting slightly harder with my new KH Fusion saddle - as it's more curved than the original saddle there's more pressure on the old goolies! Once you're on though it's fine, and I no longer have the feeling that I'm slipping off it.

Went up to the park again today, and also for a bit of a ride along the disused railway line. I can pretty much go as far as I like now as long as there are no sharp turns and the ground is reasonably smooth!

I guess I should now make the effort to learn how to idle - once I can do that I'm there!
